As I am ramping up my own travel blog, I love visiting others’ sites for ideas and inspiration. There is no better escape than reading the pages of someone else’s adventure, living vicariously through their words and images, temporarily transporting yourself from the monotony daily life can sometimes bring. I wanted to share some travel blogs that I follow for inspiration. Take a look below, and let me know if there are any other travel blogs I should include!
C’est Christine – Quits her corporate job in PR to travel the world and write about her adventures. She is settled down in NYC now but still finds time to travel and share.
Ellis Goes on Holiday – Grad student who has a long bucket list of trips she wants to take. She has already been so many places that it is almost overwhelming, but very motivating! Lots of great advice and travel stories.
Paper Planes – Here you find short trips and tips for expats living abroad, easy to read and beautiful layout.
Soulshine Traveler – Another woman who quit her job and traveled for a year. She documents her volunteer and travel stories in her WordPress blog.
Adventurous Kate – I have heard about her blog in multiple places–probably the most well-known on this list. She writes about the adventures of being a solo female traveler. Her blog has turned into a full-time career, and she is now a professional traveler. So basically my hero.
These women inspire me to continue writing and saving money to travel more.
