The Versatile Blogger Award

The Versatile Blogger Award is a way of recognizing all the hard work bloggers around the world are putting into their websites and is awarded by fellow bloggers. By accepting this award from Sarah at Moments of Travel, I have agreed to reveal 7 random travel related facts about myself. At the end of this post you’ll find my own nominations for The Versatile Blogger Award. Be sure to check these amazing blogs out and show them some love!

7 Travel-Related Facts:

1. So far, I have visited 10 countries and 31 states. I plan to see all 50 states at some point in my life and want to visit each of the seven continents (going to try to do this before I’m 30!)

2. I studied abroad in London while I was in college. That is when my passion for traveling and blogging was truly ignited. That is also where I met one of my best friends and Wonderlost Contributor–Eva Martin! Since then we have been on many adventures across the globe together.

3. I was born in Miami but did most of my growing up in Northern Virginia (just outside of Washington, D.C.). There are three places in the world I have spent a significant time living in besides Northern Virginia: London, Southern California, and Miami/Fort Lauderdale. These are three places I feel very comfortable in!

4. The prettiest destination I’ve seen so far has to be my most recent trip to Alaska. The nature and views were simply stunning!

5. As you are reading this, I’m currently taking my first cross-country road-trip from California to Virginia. My boyfriend and I are heading back to live in Virginia and have planned out lots of fun stops to check out along the way!

6. I am in the process of becoming an Earth Science high school teacher. I love everything about Earth Science and plan to share my passion for traveling and learning about/appreciating our beautiful planet with my future students. I am also very excited to utilize my long breaks for trips! Check our our series here on Wonderlost called Worldy Wonders that has to do with our great Earth and my passion for Science.

7. And finally, I’m obsessed with travel blogging. I can spend hours browsing other travel blogs out there, gaining inspiration from the incredible travelers all around the world. My hope is to one day turn this passion (obsession) into something that could help support my desire to see the world. But for now, it’s a way for me to reach out to the world, share my story, and join the incredible community of travelers!

My nominations are:
