The District

This past weekend I visited the Washington D.C. area and it was such an enjoyable getaway! It was the first time Erin and I have been able to see each other in close to a year. (?!) It was so nice to catch up in person and be able to spend some quality time together.

Great Falls Hiking
Great Falls National Park

Some highlights include: our hike in Great Falls National Park, enjoying a smoothie for me and tea for her at a cute cafe, a boat cruise down the Potomac River in Georgetown, and our long relaxing lunch in Arlington.

Blog Meeting at Blend Coffee Bar

We look forward to sharing some of the upcoming things we discussed during our planning meeting about the blog.

It was a quick trip but I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for the hospitality, partner!

    1. It was really so beautiful! Usually the water is higher but with the summer heat and no rain the water level remained low, still so nice to be outside and take in the fresh air!
