The best Sangria I ever had was while I was in Barcelona. I still think about how refreshing and delicious it was. Until I can go back to Spain and drink more, I’ll make my own to pass the time!
This recipe of sangria that I am going to share with you is a favorite. It is not the traditional color of red sangria, because it is made with white wine and has peaches in it. Yes – peaches! The recipe is pretty easy.
You’ll need:
- A big pitcher
- 1 750ml bottle of white wine (Pinot Grigio or Moscato)
- 1 cup peach vodka
- 1-2 cups seltzer (flavored if you want)
- 2 cups of fresh peaches
- 1 cup blueberries
- Optional: Simple Syrup / Lemonade can replace this
First, let peaches and blueberries soak up vodka (1 hour). Then stir in the rest of the ingredients into the big pitcher. Add ice and a straw to a glass and serve a crowd!
Cheers,
Hi Eva and Erin! If you want to try Sangria the Portuguese way, here it goes: 1 orange, 1 lemon, 1 apple washed and cut into eights. You can add strawberries and peaches if you have it. Add sugar (is according to taste) mint and cinnamon sticks. Mix and press the fruit a little. Add 1 l of red wine. Better if it can wait a few hours (in the fridge). Before serve, put in a large pitch, add ice cubes, more fresh mint, and something like 7up 1l+ (to be bubbly). Stir with a wooden spoon and serve. Better check if is sweet enough and you can add more soda if you want a lighter drink. Hope you like it 🙂
Sounds delicious, thank you so much for this recipe! I will have to try it! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
