Tasty Travels: An Authentic Greek Salad

The food in Greece was unbelievable. My favorite thing to eat was a Santorini salad (some people call it a village salad).

Every restaurant had their own version, but overall, it consists of:

  • Diced cherry tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Red onions
  • Olives
  • Diced Peppers
  • Feta cheese
  • Capers
  • Fresh herbs / Spices

It was always so refreshing and flavorful. Below are the Santorini salads I ate.

The best part about this dish is that it can be easily replicated at home! I have already made it once since I’ve been back.

Have you ever had a Greek salad like this?
